Biography
Michael is a retired public relations professional who, during 45 years in New York City, represented nearly every facet of entertainment. He now lives in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, and is currently single.
Michael’s coming out in 1971, at the age of 17 via a letter home from school, was part of the Missouri History Museum’s exhibition, “Gateway to Pride,” a comprehensive history of St. Louis’s LGBTQ community. The letter’s content and the circumstances that led to its writing are also described in his book.
